President Zardari lauds Pak Armed Forces for crushing enemy aggression with resolve: ISPR
GUJRANWALA – President Asif Ali Zardari visited Gujranwala Cantonment to meet with Pakistan Army leadership and troops, applauding their professionalism and valor.
During his visit, President Zardari commended Pakistan Armed Forces for their exemplary performance in Operation Marqa e Haq, highlighting their steadfast courage and determination in responding to unprovoked aggression. He paid homage to the martyrs—both military and civilian—who sacrificed their lives defending the nation, underscoring that their sacrifice remains a sacred trust and a source of enduring national pride.
The President emphasized the swift and precise response by Pakistan’s military, which repelled enemy aggression within hours, sending a powerful message of the country’s resilience and unity.
Interacting with officers and soldiers, President Zardari praised their high morale, combat readiness, and dedication to duty. He congratulated the forces on the successful conclusion of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, expressing profound pride in the armed forces and reaffirming their role as the nation’s protectors.
Upon arrival, President was warmly welcomed by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, alongside the Commanders of Mangla and Gujranwala Corps. Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi also accompanied the President.
